GreyKJedi finally someone said this. Day by day the forum got so boring with people asking for the update. When there got the update, then the people with “still no update” comes out within every 5 minutes.

        Anywho, so far few days I’ve been using 2.5.1, and major functions work well.

        Except for the glyphs and music visualization seems like the light quite out sync with the beats. No issues with ringtones.

            Gun_Put I don’t have that issue. As you can see I mentioned major functions works. It included SMS, Call, Camera, Speaker, Bluetooth, Network, Internet, Cable connection, Charging and others that I missed.

            Except for Glyphs Music Visualization. I see it a little bit out of sync on beats. Ringtones Glyphs works fine.

            I’m not sure why because I did the factory reset after update 2.5.1 from Open Beta 2. Technically every time I change from Stable to Open Beta or Open Beta to Stable and also any major Android upgrade, I do a factory reset. (other brands also did the same)

            So, I’m not sure from my side that everything works fine because I did a factory reset or luck. 🤣

            But, upgrade from Android 13 to Android 14. Of course, they will have something change. Could be framework, system, API and others.

                TejasMaisuriya When you say “please do not do this” are you referring to the staggered rollout?

                As mods this is certainly not something we have control over. I have no doubt that the team are aware people want updates quickly and im sure the long term plan is to improve on the efficiency of rollouts as the team grows, resources grow, and experience is gained.

                Currently the updates are pushed out in phases and it’s been that way with almost every update, this has a lot of benefits.

                    GreyKJedi couldn’t agree, people so worked up on the update, I’ve seen people saying “I’m loosing sleep” i mean wow! Clearly there have to be priorities. And i was looking for feedbacks from the people who received the stable build, but it’s just complaints all over the place.

                      Hello. I know most phone manufacturers (not all,…) prefer a staggered updates rollout to minimize the risk of bugs dissemination but, at least, make it quick.

                      Announcing the availability of an update in every media channel after months of beta testing, and then having your customers wait an additional week or longer is bad for customer satisfaction.

                        Derren Derren, it’s understood that you as a Mod have no control over the rollout of updates.

                        Some of us are calm about the issue but a lot more are anxious about receiving the update.

                        I feel that Nothing could communicate the rollout status better.

                        Would it be possible for you to ask N to inform people when they can expect to receive the update?

                          AmirHussaini same. Update to 2.5.1 from beta 2 and do factory reset, the devices works buttery smooth. No major bug(s) found yet.

                          So, music visualisation is out of sync but the custom compositions works with proper light show is it? Or it’s just some bug?
