What you are talking about has nothing to do with autofocus, but with parameters such as the sensor aperture. That’s why you can’t take a macro-photo with the main sensor for instance.
Also, auto focus on front cameras is not that common on smartphones, much less at that starting price point. For instance, what you say ‘even OnePlus basic phone has that’ is a blatant lie, since neither the OnePlus 11 or OnePlus 12 (latest flagships from the company) have that feature. On iPhones, Apple just introduced it in the 14th series.
So please, before complaining like that about something, try to educate yourself a little first.
