Using YubiKey on Phone (2)

Hi everybody,

I am enjoying the Phone (2), but one of the few things that is bothering me is rather a strange issue.
For most of my accounts, I use my YubiKey 5c NFC as an MFA solution.

I cannot locate the NFC tag, but the strangest thing is that the USB-C only works one way. Connecting the YubiKey to the USB-C port only works with the touch plate upside down from the screen.

It is the first device I’ve noticed this behavior; I don’t have it on my laptops or other Sony phones.
Is this by design, or do I have a faulty device?

If somebody can validate this that would be great. 🙂

RXShorty Coincidentally, I’ve added 2 Yubikeys with my Phone(2) yesterday evening via NFC without any problems. Will have to try again with USB-C, but can’t recall this either during my first tests.

Hi, Yubikey 5 works for me. The NFC tag in in the middle of the rear of the device. In the middle of the central coils.

Tested a new Yubikey (which worked both sides) and it seems to be my usb c connector is not doing that great on my current Yubikey.

Time to replace it. 👍
