Phone (1) Display - Liquid/Black Spot

I am using nothing phone 1 since 11 months but suddenly free days ago I have noticed a black spot and a green liquid inside the display and the liquid is spreading slowly slowly. I handle my phone very carefully, I didn’t throw it or not even carry it improperly, still I am facing this issue and when I went to the service centre and they said the liquid spreading does not comes under the warranty and they also said if there is only the black spot they can fix it under the warranty but they are now asking Rs. 12000 for replacement of new screen . How can I fix it ???

Hi brother same issue has happened with me using phone 1 for almost over a year i tried contacting them first they refused to help and told me that I have to change it for 14,000 rs which is absurd because it’s a defect from the company itself now they are not answering my mails,tweets feel cheated

AlokKumar_YsdUhOQVNq Bro Same Problem I’ve been facing from 5 days suddenly a black spot spotted right to the speaker corner I thought maybe it’s a software glitch I restarted the phone and it got bigger than previous I thought pressing the screen might solve something it got even bigger disclaimer don’t press the dot or it might get spread

Yes, i went to nothing Service center and they are saying like….it will cost me 12500 Rupees ,i use my phone very carefully, Instead of carrying in pocket i prefer to carry in a bag 🛍️ , not sure why this issue. And on 2nd and 4th Saturday…they will give me 10% disc.

My phone doesn’t have a single dent, no where, no scratches, it’s like…it just came out of the box.

The same happened with me. Three days back a small dot appeared randomly out of no where at the same exact spot as others when I was using my phone. I thought it was a software glitch because this had happened before near the camera punch hole but it disappeared after a restart. But this time it wasn’t the case, i tried restarting 3-4 times but it wouldn’t go. I thought it might go away with time. The next day I saw it expand and then I saw the liquid texture inside it. And it’s getting bigger and I don’t know what to do. This is definitely some hardware issue because this shouldn’t happen to a 1 year 5 months old phone. Just to be clear I always use a screen guard and a 360 protection case plus there’s no dents or scratches at all because that’s how carefully I use my phone. It sucks that nothing wouldn’t help with this random issue from their side.

Akshatkhanna01 we should do something because it’s non of our fault as it suddenly appeared and increasing day by day mine now flickering in dark mode it literally sucks man that too after 2 years

Faceing same issue on my Nothing Phone 1 after 2 years and update of 2.6.

No drop or liquid damage but the black spot appears in bottom right corner.
