Nothing Phone 2 Android 14 isn't showing up to download

Hello nothing,

I’ve received a notification from the system, that the update for Nothing OS 2.5 and powerd by android 14 is now available and ready to download. At the moment I was unfortunately not home so I decided to download the updated when I home. After I arrived home, the notification wasn’t there and the system says that my phone is on the latest update but it’s still on N. OS 2.0.4 and Android 13. I don’t know if it’s a failure on my phone but I hope that u have a solution for this or more information what happened.

I have the same problem with my phone 2. I have download thé Nothing OS 2.5 and powered by Android 14 but IS now available. When I go search in the system, my phone says is on thé latest update but it is still on NOS 2.0.04 and Android 14 (no 13).

Obito I just got the 2.5.1a update by ota, if you haven’t got it, you will probably be get it soon

Obito Hello there! I was facing the same issue two days back and got clarified that the issue is they have taken back the 2.5 upgrade and instead released 2.5.1a upgrade due to freezing screen bug which was faced all around the world. 2.5.1a is a hotfix and whoever didn’t download 2.5 upgrade will directly get this 2.5.1a upgrade. I’m currently within 2.5.1a powered by Android 14.

It seems like it’s a system failure and I hope the Nothing team will fix it.

U did the update but I did not and it’s not showing up. I’m still running on android 13.

I contacted the support team from Nothing and I’m waiting for an answer. I’ll tell u if they got any new informations.

I just got the answer and more information from the Nothing Support team and this is what they said.

“Due to an urgent fix for a known internal issue, we have temporarily halted the rollout of the version. We will release a new version as soon as possible. Please wait patiently.”

Seems like it’s nothing big and will be fixed soon.

I received 14 update it’s shown in notification i clicked it showed me a download and 14 details i thought i will update it later and i refreshed background apps after sometime i checked in settings to update Android 14 in settings,system,System update but it’s not showing the update what should I do now i need Android 14 update every other brands rolled out Android 14 but why nothing is doing like that i talked with their support team but they said it will come not came still 🙁

GirinathPrathi U are not alone. It will roll out soon.

Bigger issue is the Camera which is to say the least, quite disappointing

I contacted them from the phone.

If u go in settings than system and than feedback and choose the topic u want to talk about or get more information. It’s like a was to tell everything to Nothing if something is wrong with ur phone and more.

Hello, a few days ago I had received a notification about the latest update, which I didn’t instantly install, but waited a day to come back and reinstall, but ever since then I don’t see the notification for the latest update anymore, instead it shows “device up to date” Please help, when will I get the lates update

Go in settings, system, feedback, chose ur topic u want to speak about, get more information or let them know if there are any issues. You’ll get within 24 hours an answer.

I missed my Nothing OS 2.5 Update as I was not on WiFi. Now I want to update to OS 2.5 but the update is not being shown under system updates.

How to deal with this and get the Nothing OS 2.5?

SubhamMundra NOS 2.5.1 is paused and 2.5.1a is being rolled out.

SubhamMundra yea same thing happened with me, in a way I feel it’s okay to wait to get the update considering the number of bugs I’ve read online after the update 😅
