MadOne Hello, good question, the only reference we have made to Nothing OS 3.0 so far was in the most recent Quarterly Update, in which @Bruno Viegas discloses a couple of things that are ‘top of mind’. No indication of timing given 🙂

Rob ⚡️ Hey Rob, I had a few suggestions for the Nothing phone 2.

As I am a vlogger, and use this phone for as a primary, Could you please bring in an update where the default camera supports external wired and wireless mic. As resorting to open camera dilutes the quality and performance which I can get from the main cam.
A gallery app from Nothing, the Google photos are fine, but a customized gallery app with a built in editor with the ‘Nothing’ touch would be much appreciated.
The ability to copy text or a picture cutout (of the subject on the photo) and then the ability to paste the same in editing app or create sticker out of it.
I know it is not a gaming device, but it would be great if a specific game boost mode was available just to hit a few more fps while playing.
The Flip to Glyph is one of the best features, but I would love if atleast vibrations are there. At times I have missed important calls as I flipped my phone while sleeping and it did not even vibrate.
A color scheme which is not based on the wallpaper maybe, like Black red nothing theme scheme.
A quick setting toggle glyph light as a torch additional to the usual long press on torch menu, or even better shake to turn on glyph.

For ‘Nothing phone 2’ it’s been roughly 1 year now, many users and reviewers too noticed and suggested to increase the calling sound while on speaker phone, it’s really very low. But it seems like Nothing Brand team as well as software team are not interested to solve this issue so that people buy a new device from Nothing. It’s really Pathetic and Disappointing.

There should be an option to change the system default font. Any Sans-serif font would look absolutely fabulous on Nothing OS.

There should be an option in dark mode to make it black … dark mode still makes the background grey…Black would make more sense on amoled screen.

In launcher settings the icon shapes change could be added….even the stock android has this feature.

Reading about AI and it uses . How about edge light around screen ?

Lately I used app edge light colours . If you can try it and see how it worked . It would be nice if this function will be add to nothing phone as a app or integrating in nothing os

I like Nothing OS very much and wish Nothing OS 3.0 will be more user friendly having all useful features. I wish to add some features like sharing of Contacts directly from Call history instead of going to Contacts. Similarly the Fonts are small, even the largest font is mid-sized if we compare with one UI or IOs. Pl. have a note on this. Hope will be sorted out.
