Hello,
I experienced a peculiar issue with my phone this morning and I’m hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on it.
Last night, I left my phone on charge as usual. However, when I woke up, I found that my phone was only allowing emergency calls. Interestingly, when I connected to WiFi, everything seemed to work normally. But as soon as I turned the WiFi off, I was back to only being able to make emergency calls, regular calls and internet access were not available.
I attempted to troubleshoot the issue by toggling airplane mode and attempting a restart. Unfortunately, the usual restart method (Power Button + Volume Up) didn’t work. I noticed that my volume up button wasn’t responding, but the volume down button was functioning normally. Eventually, I managed to restart my phone through the accessibility settings, after which everything seemed to return to normal.
I’m curious if anyone has any insights into what might have caused this issue? For reference, I’ve only had this phone for a month. It’s a Nothing Phone (2) with 512 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM, running on Android Version 14. Nothing OS 2.5.1.A. The model number is A065.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
