Nothing Phone 1 washed in the laundry

hi all,

Its my first time on here seeking some advice.

My partner threw our bedding in the laundry without realising my Phone1 was tangled in the sheets.

The phone was in there at least 5-10 miutes. We extracted the sorry sodden handset which visibly was flooded internally and proceeded to place in a bowl of rice.

3 days later and it seems all hope is lost for my favourite handset ever.

I have ordered a new Phone2 but was wondering if or how i can ensure all data is removed on my previous handset.

secondly does anyone have any ideas of how i may repurpose this already classic handset.

danteuma Sorry to hear about this situation, but on the plus side you will have a Phone (2) arriving which is exciting 😆 As for your queries, you could always do a teardown frame of the device (if you are that technical) as that would look very cool, and frame it! Something similar to the below:
