Long Term OS Updates

With nearly all the companies onboarding the journey of the long term OS support I really expect nothing to board this train. Now I know that considering a relatively new firm nothing has for sure Market coverage in mind like , but then again as a feature and especially for the target audience who need a stable product with descent specs I believe we can tap into that market

I’m considering for the first time since 2009 moving to android with the Nothing Phone 2a. As there’s certain things that the iPhone just won’t let me do that are important to my workflow.

With the iPhone I can buy the latest best model upfront at 1600AUD refurbished/renewed which then lasts 7-8 years with Apple’s long-term OS updates, which equates to 200AUD a year.

I’ve seen in the last year Google Pixel and I believe also Fairphone promise such long-term support, so would be good for Nothing to do the same. As this is something that can help win over iPhone users like myself.
