Navigation gesture fails to open recent tabs

Sometimes the navigation bar fails to open the recent apps even trying it for 5-6 times. I need to do back swipe to come to home screen and do it again to open recent apps. Also, from home screen it doesn’t work all the time rather opens the app tray.

Have you tried some troubleshooting steps such as making sure you’ve updated the firmware and launcher? You could also try restating the device if you haven’t already.
