CARLos PEIter I am facing the same issue since day 1 and I have tried 5 chargers. Cmf for nothing 65 watt, Nothing original 45 watt, UGreen 45 watt, Spigen 70 watt and Belkin 65 watt. All the chargers were used with the cable provided in the box and all these chargers can charge the nothing phone 2a as they are compatible. Many people have advised to take the phone to the service centre as this can be a hard issue however I believe that this is not a hardware issue as there are a lot of people who are facing this charging issue (Barring those who are trying to achieve fast charging speeds with the VOOC chargers). And a company cannot make so many defective phones. I believe that this has something to do with the charging optimisation and can be fixed via an update. I hope nothing will fix it.

Install Ampere app on phone.
Start charging when the phone charge is below 25%.
Open Ampere app, take a screenshot every 10 mins and share here.

SushantSinha one more try with samsung 25w charger too . I have 12gb 256 gb variant . and this thing goes from 12 % to 91% in 30 mins . I dont even use my nothing cable , i will post screenshot here the next time i charge

This is true, i have been using 2a for a while now, and using CMF Charger, but there’s a hit or miss sort of situation where charging takes 1 hour to 3 hours+ randomly sometimes even though it shows ‘charging rapidly’. Please, address this issue as soon as possible as this gets annoying when your phone doesn’t charge when you about to leave for work soon.

MohanPrasath_bQVADZxOrU could be your cable , I have a cable to where it doesn’t charge fast enough, but I also have one that helps it work perfectly. Sometimes cheeper bricks won’t do it which stinks

Nothing phone 2a has got Nothing to do with the charger I guess,

Just start charging your respective devices with laptop USB or any other device regular USB ports 5V0.5A

What ever the charger you use it is either of them

Charging slowly

Charging

Rapidly charging

All this takes same time finally

Nothing use of this three modes

Nothing is gonna help nothing’s charging speeds

It seems like Need to do Nothing now,just suffer.

Just listen to Nothing team and do Nothing but charge slowly

No other way nothing

Do something being Nothing for Nothing 2a charging speeds 😏

Expecting Nothing is a better choice I left OP

Hi Friends

I updated the phone with new update and tried charging the phone. Still the phone doesn’t look like supporting Fast charging and charges very slowly. I tried 2 different chargers with the cable provided with the box. Results look the same and charging speed is very slow. Even My earlier Realme phone charges to 100% in an hour and is without fast charging facility.

Tech team, need to focus on solving this issue immediately as we cannot run behind finding the right charger to charge the phone with Fast charging option.

@"MohanPrasath I faced a similar problem . I didn’t have the CMF 65 watt adapter which sells for 3000 rupees. So , I have to use a low end charger which literally takes 2 hours to charge the phone. Nothing should have provided an adapter in the box.

Hi all, meantime I found a workaround (WA): once you switch on the plug point for charging, give a 5 sec gap, and then do switch off and on again. Then the phone gets changed within 1 hr. I tried this method twice, and it worked. Not sure if this WA would be consistent all times.
