My one week old New Nothing (2a) charging time took 1hr 50min to charge from 19% to 100% with Bt,wifi,data,location off and no usage. I am using original charger by nothing and original cable provided in the box along with the phone. Is it normal?

I have no problem with the charging speed. Never take longer than 1 hour using cmf 65w brick. Maybe u guys should stop using ur phone while it’s charging. Using ur phone while it’s charging will make the phone heat up. Heat is ur worst enemy, it might degrade the battery faster.

I just want to know that Is it Safe to Charge Nothing Phone 2a with Acefast A31 PD Adapter? It can give Full Charging Speed?

Because Nothing Original 45W Adapter is not easy to buy In Myanmar. Some mobile shop sold it over 40$.

Same here . I have a fast charger 64W and i tried charging Nothing 2A it took me more than 3 hours from 0-100% .

Even though is says charging rapidly with fast charger .

Also battery drain fast on moderate use.

Please address this issue .

even my 4 year old fast charge than nothing 2A .

Phone 2a is lot inconsistent in charging speed. I’m using 25w Samsung charger. It mostly charges the phone from 25-100% within 70-85mins. Sometimes it charges from 1-100% within 80-85mins.

For good charging speed I have to do following:

Keep plugging and unplugging if charging estimate time to full increases, it decreases the remaining time to get battery full.
Don’t use phone while charger is plugged in.
Sometime turn off mobile data/wifi.

I agree these are not possible every time to follow. But we can follow it by the arrival of any fix through OTA in phone 2a.

Next update should improve charging consistency and battery draining issue.

I wanted to share my recent experience with slow charging on my Nothing Phone 2a. After updating to version 2.5.5(b), I’ve noticed that my phone charges significantly slower using my 45W GaN charger. I initially thought there might be an issue with my device or charger, so I visited the service center.

At the service center, the technicians confirmed that there are no defects with my phone or charger. Interestingly, I wasn’t alone—several other customers reported the same problem on the same day.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Nothing Phone 2a after the latest update? Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

SARANGAPANIDEKA I have also same issue yesterday visited service centre they said it is a beta version of software they don’t have idea of software even moreover they added that cmf gan charger is not recommended at all why nothing is selling gan charger under is sub brand cmf on the whole phone needs atleast 3 hours and AC room to full charge and battery drain just keep it aside for sometime and voilaa battery sucks
