MohanPrasath_bQVADZxOrU I tried the same thing with a 65w warp charger, and I came to understand that only with the right 45w charger you will get the status “Charging Rapidly” if you use any 65w or non 45w charger wither it will show charging slowly or simply charging! I did get a warning on my phone 2a when I used the 65w saying “charging is slower for better battery life and optimization.” so I guess, 65w charger is not a suitable companion.

zygerboy If samsung 25w adaptor can charge in 75min. Then why should we buy 45w or 65w adaptor?

MohanPrasath_bQVADZxOrU yeah you are right this happens with me I also do this like 1 or 2 times this I think is software issue because at first it works fine but after 4 update with my phone this problem occured

AyanSarkar_eJlKndHL0X now a days anything is possible on youtube videos, and one should always take these information with a pinch of salt as they may not be genuine information. I saw many comments on some yt videos about samsung 25w charger being fast for phone 2a but it also raises long term battery life issues. So is 25w charger worth taking the risk?

I bought Nothing phone 2a a week back, I used my OnePlus, Realme, Motorola fast chargers, it took 2.30hrs to fully charge from 0%. Later reading all the above experience with Cmf charging taking 3 hrs to charge and Samsung 25W PD Gan charger fully charges the mobile from 0%-100% in 1.20hrs. so I bought one and ended up charging my mobile in 3hrs 😑💔 #whynothing?

So is this a Software problem or hardware problem..?? Or 45W support is just a marketing gimmick…??? 🤧

I’m writing this out of curiosity of how a 25 W Samsung charger manages to charge my Nothing Phone 2a quicker (1 to 1 hour 5 minutes )than my 33 W CMF charger (1 hour 30 minutes or more). I also used my friend’s Nothing 45 W charger and it takes 5-10 minutes more than Samsung’s 25 W charger i.e. about 1 hour 20 minutes. Is there something wrong with charging speed optimisation?

P.S.- All of the 3 chargers show “Charging rapidly” once plugged in.

Recently I bought a nothing phone 2a along with a cmf charger of 65w ..but when I plug in, it charges very slow (I’m using the cable provided in the box)…then if I unplug it and plug in again it charges fast….so what could be the reason of this inconsistency

⚠️ SOLUTION FOUND ⚠️

You guy’s might have seen me crying over slow charging issue with my OnePlus, Realme, Motorola fast chargers fully charges my mobile in 2.30hrs and later buying Samsung 25W PD charger after reading many discussions here charging in 1hr20min, but New Samsung charging ended up charging my mobile in 3hrs 😑.

Now, here comes the solution👇🏻

Download “Ampere Flow” app - charging speed AOD app.
Plug in your mobile with Samsung 25W PD charger with orginal Nothing phone cable
Switch on the power, now it will charge at 5W speed (you can see in app). Let it charge a 1%.
Now Switch Off & On the Power, Tadaaa now your mobile will charge at 20W and fully charges at 60min.

P.S: Once or Twice the charging Watt may drop, again Switch Off & On the power to get 20W back.

I was purely disappointed with the charging issue, but now a bit happy as this trick works for me and I hope Nothing solves this issue with a software update 😁
