freshj1ve steven_darklight wait for the next update to drop (hopefully within the week as mentioned by @s0nny above) that addresses these Android Auto issues and then report back, but if there’s still issues after the fact best to send the feedback directly to Nothing. 🙂
Ond_ejKoubek steven_darklight This issue occurs on pretty much on all VW Group cars. There is nothing you can do right now… Just wait for the update. If you want to call someone just use Whatsapp the microphone works well there.
Michielll As temporary solution, i have my phone connected with bluetooth for calls en wath the phone screen for the navigation. I hope that somebody knows when the update will be or that somebody from nothing will putt a date here.
CraigSharples Mine works fine with android auto Vw Tiguan 2017 (uk) just worked in first connection! I’ve probably jinxed it now 😬
freshj1ve Looks like a new update has just dropped for the Nothing Phone (2a) version 2.5.5 but it doesn’t say anything specific in the changelog about Android Auto though.. 🤔 Community post about it here also: https://nothing.community/d/8802-nothing-os-255-rolling-out-for-phone-2a/2 I guess there’s only one way to find out (update not available on my phone just yet, staggered rollout). SanjayKumar_l6Iu5lEYrH In this release 2.5.5 …No update to Android auto, still not working in my Maruti Ciaz 2017 model. Blank screen on car display. Somebody was saying that in this update nothing support will correct this issue .. very much disappointed ☹️

SanjayKumar_l6Iu5lEYrH Yes ,you can also install , go to settings, system, then system update, click update , will update for you. Yes with this new 2.5.5 version also , no Android auto not working, same blank screen.

AnkushBhanot While connected to Android auto in my car incoming calls or outgoing calls are not showing either on phone or car headunit. Other functions are fine. I have tried in different cars, and facing the same problem. While my other Android phones are connecting and working fine in the car. Pls Help!!!
KBJ AnkushBhanot Report problem directly to Nothing. On your phone, Settings -> System -> Feedback. Be clear about how to reproduce the problem.

Shay MishaKlementov_ The update didn’t solve anything for me. I sent nothing more logs as per their request.
