Kyriakos I was considering buying the NP2a to be honest, but after this major issue with AA and no support from Nothing i think i will stick with Samsung..
Ethan Walker Lu_sArranja Hi This issue will be resolved in the next OTA update. Please pay attention to the software version upgrade notification.
EM (1) Ethan Walker Hey! Maybe the next OTA also includes NP(2) Android Auto connection problem (https://nothing.community/d/2190-android-auto-failing-to-start-phone-2)? Still hope and hold myself off from buying some wireless solutions.
krzychu Ethan Walker as in comment above; in NP2 the problem is with cable connection, AA doesnt turn on at all. I checked in two Skoda Kamiqs with-, and without wireless connection - AA works only wirelessly. I hope you willl fix the problem with wired AA in VAG cars 🙂
IanPayne EM (1) The issue with the 2a is with cable and with wireless, aawireless does not fix the problem
EM (1) IanPayne I know NP(2a) with cable / wireless - AA is started but broken NP(2) with cable for most VAG group cars (Skoda, VW, etc.) - AA is not started at all as crashes with connection error. Works ok with the wireless solution
krzychu Shay there is topic https://nothing.community/d/2190-android-auto-failing-to-start-phone-2/58 It’s one OS, and one AA feature which doesn’t work properly on Nothing Phones, I see the reason to treat both issues together as part of whole bugged Android Auto of this Nothing OS
Shay krzychu They are not the same issues as the NP2 works wirelessly. Nothing 2a doesn’t work AT ALL. Theyre different issues.
Centrino AA doesn’t work for me neither, even with a USBC cable plugged in. So I guess we’ll have to hope that the next update does fix the problem ?
