Hello everyone,
I’m considering making a significant change in my tech life and would love to hear your opinions and advice on it.
After almost 16 years using iPhone and deeply immersed in the Apple ecosystem, I’m contemplating the possibility of trying something new: the Nothing Phone 2a or even the 2. The idea of exploring a different device is exciting to me, but I also have some concerns and questions.
The most important aspect of my current experience with my iPhone 12 Pro is the ease of sharing a photo library with my wife through our Apple One plan and iCloud. Does anyone have experience with similar alternatives in the NothingOS ecosystem?
Additionally, I’ll need to transfer important data such as photos, videos, notes, voice memos, and contacts. Could anyone provide guidance on how to do this efficiently and safely from iOS to NothingOS?
While I’m excited about the idea of exploring a new operating system after so long, I’m concerned about the transition and how it would affect integration with other Apple devices we have at home, such as Apple TV, AirPods, MacBook Air, etc. Has anyone experimented with interoperability between Apple devices and Nothing 2a?
I’m also willing to adapt to new ways of interacting with my phone, but I’d like to know what resources or support are available to facilitate this transition. Can anyone recommend tutorials or online support groups to assist with getting familiar with NothingOS?
Lastly, I’d love to learn more about the differences between iCloud and Google services in terms of storage, features, security, and device compatibility. Does anyone have detailed information or a comparative chart they could share?
I greatly appreciate any advice, experiences, or information you can offer. Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
