Pls change the option of ‘tap to show lockscreen’ to ‘double tap to show lockscreen’ as many times the lockscreen shows up when lifting the phone also interacting the widgets accidently and icons accidently. It happens many time messing up the lockscreen.

One - Tap for showing AOD
Two - Tap for waking up the screen

Nice. I guess it’s a good point that those accidental touches should be registered as such or, you implement double click to wake. I’d also suggest logging it as product feedback… settings>system>feedback… makes sure the right people get it!

Hey mate, I’d suggest logging it as product feedback via settings>system>feedback from your Nothing or CMF phones.

The OS does show app icons at the top but, I get the idea of a clearer positioned ‘clear all’ button might be useful!

I would like to suggest some changes that would make a phone unique:

1. A phone caller with the ability to record all calls.

2. A messaging app with a sorting feature for messages.

3. A gallery app with all editing options.

4. A video player.

5. A music player.

There are already unique phones available, such as Apple and Samsung.

@FerozeHakeem These features are not in Stock Android and therefore Nothing OS hasn’t got them. These are just gimmicks implemented by the OEMs to make it look like they have more features. I personally don’t see any reason to include this in Nothing OS. Because it isn’t that much of a hassle to close the recent screen and open the app from the app drawer. Not trying to be rude here but if you want all these features then I suggest that you skip on Nothing phones and buy one that runs on a custom OEM and if you’re using a Nothing phone then try installing a custom ROM that has all of these features.

Rivan yes bro you’re on point but atleast there should be an option to lock apps bcoz when I try to switch to some apps they start from fresh which is annoying at times.

I personally don’t see the use of that…There is a reason it’s called Nothing OS because we don’t copy paste things from other OS

1. Needs the ability to pin/lock apps into RAM.

2. Accessible clear all button (at the bottom)

3. Google lens integration option ( on/off switch for people who don’t want it.) or similar search function.

4. Swipe navigation when hiding navigation bar IS NOT ACCURATE.

5. Ability to resize icons.

6. Monet themed icons aren’t completely themed. Only monochrome ones are complete.

7. Folders within app drawer.

8. UNIVERSAL SEARCH - contacts + WhatsApp + telegram, files, web search ( check latest Nova Launcher beta version search)

9. More grid layouts ( 6×6, 7×7… etc)

10. The pop up menu in the launcher is better vertical and labeled than what it is right now.

11. Widgets can be stretched without padding restrictions. Atleast somewhat better than what it is right now.

12. Stackable widgets.

The upcoming smart folder-ish kinda app drawer looks cool (as seen from the latest video).

itsme_Lucky In my opinion, something that should appear in Nothing OS 3 is a “procedures” app where, for example, you could set it so that when you’re in a specific location, the “Do Not Disturb” mode turns off, and similar functions. What do you think?

single touch is to wake up the screen. double is to lock. works well for most users.

Jay It will just show the AOD for a specific time period say, 3-5 seconds, enough to glance, notifications if any/Time.
And even if it gets triggered by a mistouch - I wouldn’t be bothered.
