About the Intellectual Property Nothing bought from Essential, it “won’t appear” in Nothing’s first product.
“Before we were called Nothing, ‘Essential’ was one of the names we were brainstorming, internally. So that’s why we’ve acquired the trademark. We don’t have any plans to do anything with Essential,” said Pei.
About how sales are going to be conducted, during the interview it’s also explained that initially they’ll be “direct sales to drive down costs”. The United Kingdom, India, Europe and North America are going to be the initial focus. After that, Nothing will focus on Japan, Korea “and other countries”.
At the moment, the company has three products “in its pipeline”. The Ear (1) is just the first one.
