KalyanKarmakar Exactly, Idle battery drain is too much, it’s been 2 weeks still I am not able to find the reason. I had even tried to force stopped most of the apps to check if any of the app is causing problem but that was not the case, still battery drain was same

Battery life is really great for me. This is the SOT I got.

I was at home the whole time, not traveling.

I had 120 hz on and location on.

Turned on battery saver at 20%.

It was medium usage with mostly content watching, and using social media apps, and almost 2 hrs of gaming.

When it comes about your way of using, WiFi, streaming, gaming you can get sot like this but try to using on 4g or 5g, just browsing web and leave phone idle you will see what we are all talking about. Using this phone with 4g or 5g is disaster, I’m really disappointed and hope they will fix it in a next update cause it’s unacceptable.

Yeah ofc SOT isn’t like this when I am outside and network is fluctuating constantly. Still doesn’t look bad to me. Maybe cause I am coming from previously using a 4500 mah phone? Still if I charge it in the morning and go to work, when I return home in the evening I mostly have atleast 40% left still.

Would be too much for an iPhone at night (in favourable circumstances), though..

Also the problem is with charging. Sometimes when I plug the phone, it usually happens when I have around 20% od battery it show time remaining of Charing around 1h30min so it is like slow charging. I unplug the phone, plug again I then the same happens or now the phone see my charger as fast charging and now time remaining is shows as around 45 minutes. I have 65W charger with PD and everything which is require to fast charge 2a. What it is ? It’s basic feature which nothing can’t handle with ?

It’s basic feature and You can’t handle this. I’m still thinking about returning the phone and come back to another phone brand. I bought charger meter and waiting for delivery. When it will come to my place I will show you the photos from charging power measurements.

Yes after the latest update of 2a the battery is draining very fast … also screen flickers sometimes for example when u unlock the device the screen goes on high brightness and then get normal in a friction of second… and about the battery it is only giving 5 hours or less then 5 hours SOT, I have tried Everything battery saver , low brightness, turning off ram booster but there is no improvement in battery section before the update it was working fine… however I have restricted my instagram chrome YouTube and most of the apps but still as I said there is no improvement in SOT , please note I’m getting approx 5 hours of SOT in a very light usage also idle draining is very high as compare to different devices… I hope nothing will roll out an update for the battery drain issue and for the screen flickering while unlocking the device.

I’m getting excellent battery backup on my 2a. Phone was charged 25 hours back and I’m still at 57% this morning. 5+ hr SOT until now. Let’s see if the phone holds charge till EOD with gentle use 🤞

Battery drain very fast even update the latest update,and always on display take too much battery, today I set my mobile 100% battery and 10 hours didn’t touched, after I looked it my battery drain 8%,now it has 92%battery please fix this issue and heating issue also
