I must admit the battery has been disappointing only really getting 1 days use and mostly light use calls txts etc but on top of that what happened to fast charging it says charging rapidly well from 3% to 97% it has taken 2 and a half hours to put into perspective my Oppo Reno Z with 20W super vooc charging takes an hour on a 2019 phone and still lasts two days,is this something the nothing team can address with updates Oppo has 4200 battery and the nothing 2a 5000

ReddyAnna RohithTony lol how is that a problem? You lost less than 1% charge per idling hour. That’s expected on any phone.

Would be too much for an iPhone at night (in favourable circumstances), though..

SangramBiswal_69PFOdmjnA I wanted to share that after 2.5.4a even the digital wellbeing app gets the battery down by a lot, so basically when i’m sleeping (i even put it on airplane mode and turn everything off except mic which is needed for digital wellbeing

My 2a battery drains almost 25% in idle mode including 10% straightaway in between 80- 70 .

Secondly charging with 25W PD charger takes more than 2hours. Any clue.

MohammedHasib check for background apps usage, android apps are not very optimised . my phone is giving excellent backup

Hello nothing happy to enter into nothing community.After a recent update the battery draining is too fast. What is the problem behind that. Is it possible to rectify in next update.

ghumnewala Do you face any idle battery drain issue? possible to share info on how much % of battery does your phone lose overnight without any usage. Because on my unit I could see on regular usage from apps, battery consumed is less but idle battery drain is more

baymax 1-2% , i have battery optimiisation option turned on. Also data is kept on overnight (5g+) check my profile , i have screenshots shared before

I’m currently using phone 2a. It’s almost a week I’ve facing a bit issue in a battery. Obviously phone 2a has a good battery optimisation yet battery level get decreased in a standby (without using phone, screen out time)… is that can able to rectify by upcoming updates or it’s just what it is ?!

Since updating to Nothing OS 2.5.4.a, I’ve noticed a significant increase in battery drain. This makes it difficult to get through a full day on a single charge.

This is very Lite usage (mostly watching videos and web surfing). Idle drain is a serious problem too,, charged it in the night, around 7% battery is drained, sometimes more than 10%. And I am still seeing lags in when I swipe down from notification panels and when unlocking phone. Please make it more like The Google Pixel, super smooth. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is offering smooth UI and better battery life ( it has 5500 mAh but still comparatively 2a is worse) and good gaming performance too(idc about gaming performance because I don’t play games, but still). YouTuber TechBar mentioned about the call audio issue, I face it everytime. I am not looking for performance for gaming at all. But it should last more than a day and no logs are expected. Doing ’jugads’ like disabling digital wellbeing, switch off wifi/5G is not an option, because than what’s the purpose of using a phone. This is in correspondence of a LITE USER.

ghumnewala 1-2% is really good, I lose around 4-7% with WiFi and mobile data turned off and DND mode enabled.

baymax lol thats awful, last night i checked , 88% to 87% , i slept around 7hours , data enabled 5g+, always on display is off .on wifi it wont even loose that 1%, although kept off. your background apps might be culprit.
