The auction is over! Highest offers (there were two at the same amount) are £2,511, and I think the lowest amount was around £600.

I wonder how many of the people who wanted but lost out on getting #1 will not follow through with their bid.

sean (1) you have to confirm payment details, and then if you win payment is taken. So there’s not really an opportunity to back out. My bid was 55th (counting from top); with a total of 139 bids made (so bottom quarter look like they’re gonna miss out)
