Yeah. I picked up my 2A a couple of days ago, and immediately noticed the poor NFC implementation with my Yubikey. I’ve not successfully managed to get it to register a single time as yet - and have had to revert to using my USB key with a USB to USB-C adapter every time.
I’m crossing my fingers that this is something they might be able to address with an upcoming software tweak, because given the choice between the 2A and my utterly essential Yubikey, well… Need I say more?
Oh and don’t even bother trying to get it to register through a case. The only means by which I’ve been able to get it to vibrate (though not to successfully register) is by taking the phone out of the clear plastic case. It’s so far the only real flaw i’ve noticed in the 2A, sadly in this day and age it’s not really an acceptable one…
