Ear tips swap for Ear (a)

I have encountered an issue with the fact that neither of the original ear tips are not quite working well for me. I mean that not in the fact that they work badly, but in that ears fall out.

So I have decided to switch ear tips from “Oppo Enco W31” headphones

They work well for me and the headphones do not fall out (even tho Oppo’s headphones were falling out when I used them)

In the end, my question - does it goes against any of the Moral Values of the Nothing Community? [or anything else in that ballpark]

but also an update regarding:

you actually do lose basses and sounds

not significantly when going from original to external [eartips], but when going back again you will feel it
not sure abt how well they fit in my ear, as the ones from Oppo were smaller and better fitting [almost not falling out of my ears], but will see

Sounds

Original = 101%

Changed ~87-92%

Staying in ear

Original ~ 70%

Changed ~95%

So you basically exchange the quality of sound on earphones to not fall out of your ear

Have the same issue here with the ear a’s. Wish they came with XL size tips…. I have switched to spinfit CP360… They fit much better and have a slightly “stickier” feel which makes them more secure. Just wish they were yellow!

@Nothing.. Any chance you’ll be producing an XL ear tips in yellow for the (a)'s?? Thanks.

Other than that I am absolutely loving them!

Hi, I’ve just bought a pair of Nothing Ear a ear buds, but I can’t get a proper fit on my right ear. I’ve tried the other tips that come with them, but it’s still not right. Can anyone recommend a compatible ear tip that might offer a better fit?

Unnfortunately, the spinfit CP360s are discontinued. I have been looking for the core diameter and nozzle diameter sizes to source different ones. Anyone know off the top of their heads?

I’ve bought the Ear (a) in December 2024, and in February 2025, I bought the SpinFit Omni (SM size). These are my thoughts so far.

They fit really well in the ear! I did a jaw movement test, and when the original ear tip fell out, the SpinFit just loosened a bit. There’s a bit more bass—enough to notice. (I use the treble EQ preset because I’m a fan of a broad and clear sound.)
I’ve used the small original tips, and they weren’t a good fit. The size was almost right, but they constantly fell out, especially when eating.

As for ANC, I honestly think the Ear (a) has peculiar noise cancellation. It’s OK for constant sounds, but anything different can break the silence. I used to have the Redmi Buds 3 Pro, and their ANC was about the same or maybe just a little better.

I can recommend them, but $10 is a little too much.
