Nothing Ear (2024) Pinch Control Problems

Every now and again the pinch control on my new buds fail to work. Sometimes they both malfunction. Sometimes only one bud works.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

I’ve lodged a warranty claim. Hoping to get them replaced! Didn’t have this issue with my ear (2).

I had problems with the right control of the ear 2 but it occurred when changing several times between transparency and anc mode.

With the new earbuds, I had the problem that the right side didn’t respond because it didn’t connect, I took it off and put it back on and it worked again

I restarted them to see if the problem is corrected.

I am having the exact same issue and cannot determine a rhyme or reason. Sometimes putting them back in the case fixes it, and sometimes not. I do not think that it is a problem with the ear detection because audio will still play out of both buds. I did not have this issue with my Ear 2’s either. It is super frustrating.

Same problem with Nothing Ears 2024, both earbuds malfunctioning. Can’t seem to fix it, tried everything. Sometimes physically pushing the earbuds deeper into my ear canals fixes it, sometimes it doesn’t.

Same here, Just brought new nothing ear 2024 for the firat time, and the pinch is not working at all. Everything besides this is great.

Really don’t know what to do?

Any advise?

One thing i’ve observed is that pinch control will be “paused” if they don’t detect that they are in your ears, make sure they’re properly seated in your ear and it should work again

RapidZapper Do you know if its meant to do that? I have in-ear detection turned off and it still “recognises” wheter or not it’s properly seated in my ear.

W1PA It’s a bit weird but yes it still check for proper in-ear fit to work even if the option is disabled

Hi,

some small Feature can improve the already amazing product, maybe this is a thing you would love to use as well.

I like controlling the Volume using only the Nothing ear with its gesture feature.

I like the feature and would be happy to use the gesture with my Nothing Ear in future.

Nothing please address this issue. My very expensive earbuds have been rendered to the level of 10 dollar earbuds. The controls dont work, in- ear detection doesnt work and anc doesn’t work.
