All of the internals are beautiful in their own right, but I particularly enjoyed seeing the individual batteries and wireless charge coil. Great to see how all these elements come together. The circular bud components are also very stylish when broken down, like how one has a red sticker and the other has a blue

Rob ⚡️ as someone who’s in the final year of electronics and communication engineering, I really appreciate the PCB design housing, the elements placed altogether in a stem design in the PCB with appropriate spacing between them to avoid the heat of one affect the other. Moreover, using Ceramic to give more area for the driver to thump for bass for a good bonus.

Rob ⚡️ nothing ears are best ,the components are tightly packed and secured. Ear improves user experience through thoughtful design and component integration ,The noise cancellation is managed by dedicated microphones and algorithms to provide a better listening experience.

Honestly my favourite part of the design is the pinch able haptics that it has, it looks so much more normal when I adjust volume compared to tapping it.

Rob ⚡️ Flexible Printed Circuit

Rob ⚡️ Despite their large size, the earbud FPCs intricately fold into the housing of each earbud, bridging all of the components such as the batteries and drivers to the main PCBA. Each earbud contains 3 mics - you’ll spot one of these at the end of the FPC in the image above. The other two are positioned on the main PCB - more on that later…

Honestly, the answer is easy, FPC is the most fascinating masterpiece to exists in modern day engineering. Foldable circuits allows the creators to jam in so much into so little space. And the way it is used here showcases innovative use of materials and advanced engineering to maintain functionality without compromising the design.

Rob ⚡️ The Industry first 11mm Ceramic Drivers are for me the most astounding part of new Nothing (Ear).

The rigid and quality structure is able to propagate smooth sound and Cristal clear highs and lows. This infact creates the audio experience to a whole new level!

Rob ⚡️ The FPC, you used clever origami to put an integrated but complex circuit into a device that small, That should be written in Micro-electronics history with a golden ink and nothing font.

Rob ⚡️ Imo, the part with the touch sensor is the most incredible for someone outside the field. Such a small component that adds so much value, physical buttons wouldn’t give a good customer experience on this kind of product.

The left ear tear down really caught my eye. It’s amazing to think nothing could make such a good audio product all the while making it look unique and intriguing to the eye aswell. This is absolutely amazing and could be considered one of the most intriguing approaches to TWS earbuds

It is really hard to say which part is the best enginered feature. Many parts can be similiar or already delvelop by other medium/high range earbud bands so I think it can be really the ceramic driver. I didn’t know it was a good choice for increasing the quality of high tones. I am very curios of trying these earbuds, because I am very interested in music quality, being myself a complete audiophile fanatic. Sorry for my English…

I think Circular Earbud Components is the most fascinating part of the entire teardown. The vibrant colours just makes just instantly grasped my attention. Also it contains the new drivers which I think are the real game changer in terms of audio feedback. Looking forward to more teardowns . I love teardowns especially when they are beautiful because beauty is on the insides

I think the case PCBA took me by surprise. I was expecting it to be a totally different design but there again, I’m not that advanced in technology 😅
