I really love the compactness of the design as well as the transparency as seen in all nothing products. The ceramic driver is something incredible. I appreciate the batteries and their capacity. Something subtle but amazing is the clear, transparent material that the case is made of. I admire this design. Also, GL on the giveaway everyone!

Integrated Bluetooth Antenna of the Nothing Ear teardown made us appreciate the engineering behind these earbuds.

Nothing Ear (1) and Ear (1) are excellent wireless earbuds that offer a bang for your buck. With solid audio quality, a comfortable fit, unique design, and a fantastic companion app, it’s hard to overlook how good these things are.

Its seamless incorporation into the structure, maintaining both signal quality and a sleek, minimalist design, highlights an exceptional attention to detail.

Overall we liked the product and it will have a great competition among the market

While the whole tear down is a thing of beauty and the ceramic drivers are technically innovative… I can’t help but focus on the FPC alien incredulously gesturing at the wireless charging coil!

The things that made me appreciate the nothing ear are the intricate design of the FPCs and the ceramic driver. The FPCs are flexible and are folded together into a single circuit leaving enough space for the other components. The other thing is how compact and intricate an earphone can be. The 11mm driver though smaller than the nothing ear 1 boasts better performance in receiving and perceiving higher frequencies.

It is absolutely fascinating to see the small components packed into such a small case and makes such a great big noise.

Love the style and appreciate the engineering work to fit the components into that beautiful small case.

It’s probably a less popular part because it is not as aesthetically pleasing as some other parts, but I still choose the Bluetooth Audio SoC. It is mostly because I appreciate the Bluetooth tech for all the possibilities it has brought us!

Rob ⚡️ The whole design of the headphones seems amazing to me, that FPC is flexible and has so many folds and on top of that it looks pretty!!
The touch button and the integration with gpt chat make it a very practical and quick product to control, but what I liked the most and caught my attention about these headphones is their transparent and unique design, it is the only brand/product that He is doing something different and spectacular.

it’s amazing to see ceramic drivers inside earphones of this pricerange, and seeing how much stuff can fit on such small electrical circuits for someone like me that knows nothing about electronics is so shocking! Like, the battery is the biggest component and it’s dozens of times larger than the mic, the antenna, the touch sensor…

I love the fact that you even decided to do a teardown at all. It is not often that there are people doing quality teardowns, much less from the brand themselves.

Rob ⚡️ I personally like the PCBA, because there is so much detail on so little space. This came to my mind, when i compared it to the antenna module besides. While the antenna looks almost blank and simple (i thought about how much i like this at first), the PCBA looks like a perfect arrangement of small pieces.

What is there which can not be Appreciated, being a cmf user myself i can feel the mindset behind behind every choice i.e. actually making a great and reliable product, Ngl PCBs feel like they were designed for the look Nothing has gone for .

Besides the cool inside, the case look gorgeous too. When I first saw the original ear online, I wasn’t sure about the case. A half year later. I went to London visiting the nothing story and the ear 2 were one day out. I think the case looked really good. Functional and really clean with a good size.

As someone insterested in aerodynamics, I appreciate the effort on optimising the airflow. Also the ceramic drivers.
