No personal sound profile when LDAC is selected?

The app is informing me I cannot set up a personal sound profile when LDAC is selected, is this true?

I had this set up on my iPhone and was seriously impressed, I’m trying to get it set up on my new HiBy R4 but I get that error

I preferred the personal sound profile over the advanced EQ on my iPhone but obviously LDAC is superior in every way and thinks my new DAP , in some situations having my wired IEM are not feasible so I’d like to get my Nothing ear 2024 set up as backup

You do realize that using Bluetooth from a DAP offers no advantages whatsoever over using your phone, right?

Well it does as the better audio codecs are not on iPhone, my music collection won’t fit on my iPhone, the system wide bit perfect audio on everything is not available on iphone, I could literally go on all day how my DAP is superior to a phone/any phone android or iPhone but you seem to know best?

Anyway it’s the Nothing app that’s not playing correctly with the DAP, tried my brother’s Sony earbuds xm5 and Sony connect app and it works perfectly

The nothing app reports the correct battery levels and that’s it, nothing else works

Yes, I also have this issue on my Pixel phone. Can’t use personal sound profile when LDAC is selected.

What’s the reason for this? I am sure it worked before the last update.

i also can’t turn on the personalised profile on LDAC after the recent Nothing X update…

I’ve looked through quite a few topics on here and noticed Nothing staff are helping nobody

It’s like I’ve bought the product now figure it out, if something doesn’t work then tough

Think I’ll just return them, the customer service is easily among the worst I’ve seen

I did not expect that when using ldac the personal sound profile would not be available. If it was available it would make using ldac so much better.

I contacted support about this, they told me it is not possible to use Personal sound on LDAC due to the bitrate limitation for LDAC.

This is disappointing to find out. They should probably update the product pages to reflect this (as of right now, it’s not stated on Amazon).

I feel you, I’m a little angry because i got this earbuds taking into consideration all the goodies, but in the end nothing and Realme fuck me over.

Realme because their LHDC support is only for their earbuds so no support for nothing ears…

And nothing because LDAC cut you out from most of their good goodies. Even Bass booster doesn’t seem to work with LDAC… Damn.
