My backpacking essentials

The theme I chose is based on black items that I carry with me every time I travel backpacking.

I have my planner/diary where i wrote down notes, place to visits, ideas and all sort of stuff, storing my thoughts like a second brain. Next I have my phone(2) and my ear(1) that keep me in good company with all my music. My camera, the first grown-up purchase that I made, is perfect for capturing new memories every time. My kobo, loaded with a lot of books and stories for the quiet moments. And then all the other utilities that come in help every time: glasses, additional memory card, watch, marker and pens.

These essentials ensure I’m prepared, entertained, and ready to capture every moment of my travels.

🙂

Sea pollution. It shows the fishes in chaos, while ships and boats continue to throw waste into the sea. I used an old bottle of spray for the Titanic, and a small bar of soap for the smaller boat. The fishes are erasers and ointments. The waste include staples and an NFC coil. I made it as interesting as possible.😁

I just thought I’d give another entry if it’s okay.

The theme is working in the mirror dimension.😀

Here I leave my last-minute entry. Good luck to everyone!

My entry is black/dark-based, and the main theme is my daily life in key tech-items. These are items which I use daily without fail both for work and for my free time, and I realized that I tend to get them with that color tone. Everything revolves around my laptop, which is my work hub. All the items that surround it are my essentials, with which I can communicate, listen to music, enjoy movies, store data, work, or even keep track of my health and physical condition.

The picture was taken with my Nothing Phone (2). I’m impressed with the picture since it was taken in a room with low-power artificial lighting (LED), a situation where any phone struggles. I would have liked the Phone (2) to be in the photo, but the other phone’s camera was unable to capture a decent image under those conditions 😅

This is my first entry to Nothing Community. I know this is last minute entry, yet I just wanted to participate.

This is my work + life materials all in a canvas.

Here attaching a Behind the scenes video

    Hey all! 👋🏼

Thank you so much for participating in the Ear (a) flat lay challenge. @Rob ⚡️, @Mattia ☀️ and I were really excited to see what you’d all create, and we were so impressed with the results.

We have chosen four favourites this time, as it was so hard to choose!

@Baz - a really fun flat lay with great composition - we especially loved the story behind your flat-lay. You had a unique and thoughtful approach to giving a theme to your creation!

@mithamythrehnatr - beautiful artwork, the image looks fantastic and we appreciated how creative you were in using other items as a tripod!

@Derren - visually a super clean image with very aesthetically pleasing spacing! The 2:1 aspect ratio was also a refreshing crop!

@Rahul - super creative and original flat lay composition! Loved the story behind the idea, with each item belonging to someone different!

All four winners, I will be contacting you to arrange an Ear (a) prize to be sent to you, in the colour theme of your flat lay. Please look out for my DM and respond within 48 hours to claim the prize 🙂

Beautiful flat lays across this thread! 👏🏼

Many congratulations to the winners! 🔥

Congratulations to the winners! Some amazingly aesthetic images in this thread, very satisfying 😄 And thanks Natalie for a great challenge topic! Looking forward to future challenges

Thank you so much!! It was super fun and very inspiring, congratulations to everyone 😊

Congratulations to all the winners! I loved seeing this challenge.

@Rahul - bro this is the realest advice anyone will give you over here. There is an art exhibition (Art Basel) happening in Miami beach December 06-08. Take whatever materials you used to make this flat lay, assemble them again but this time staple them or stick them on a white board. Take that to this Art Basel in Miami this year. It will easily get auctioned for atleast a million dollars. You need to do this bro, retire early you will never have to struggle in that 9-5 grind ever again. Not many get this chance. Do this bro, you might regret it later. Best wishes.

You can check the Art Basel website for more info. The applications are open currently. Do take this seriously. (Give me 10% when you get it done for the idea, I’ll gladly take it)

Last application date is 16 July.

So happy to be part of the winners of this fun challenge. Thank you, team! Also, congrats to @Baz, @Derren, and @mithamythrehnatr.
Baz’s photo was so simple but beautiful, and the story behind it made it 100 times better. It is really comforting to look at that photograph.

My buddy Derren made one of the cleanest ones of all 🔥, Happy to see your photograph selected.

I’m even happier to see @mithamythrehnatr’s photo selected than mine. Some of you might know her face through the photos I took (I managed to put her face on the screens of phone 2a launch event 😁). She is my best friend in RL and helps a lot with the projects I do in this community. This time I told her to participate in this challenge, and she really impressed me with a beautiful picture 🙌.
