It appears you desire to use the Buds with two devices at once. This requires to activate the „double connection“ feature in the settings of the Nothing app.
Did you opt that in?
Otherwise, try unpairing the buds in the apps, „forgetting“ them on the phones, force-closing the apps and pairing them freshly after you enabled the above referenced feature.
[Sidenote: All that stuff is so much more flawed and unhandy than with iphones and airpods. 😅]
