Agreed, but I hear you. When it comes to the Indian market, there’s definitely some skepticism towards Nothing compared to Chinese brands.

Data security and user experience are definitely strong points, but yeah, the update situation is a bit all over the place. At least they’re aware of the issues and according to customer support they’re working on a fix for Phone 2. Just gotta wait for it though, no timeline yet.

My guess is we’ll see NOS 3 with a new product launch, based on what I saw on X:

I totally agree with pathetic RAM management.

I have 8gb indian version.

It just can’t handle 2 simple apps like Youtube, WA, Message app, Insta,etc. I am just F@#££ angry with this. This issue is after update, I am on latest 2.5.6 now. Earliest also it was not perfect, but ya it was way better than now.

Hight is when I play CODM game, if I minimise to attend call, it just complelty shuts the game. I mean literally the game loads from very beginning & I need to login again.

If anyone has any solution, please please please share. (on YouTube I could only find brand promotions & other nonsense stuff)

DavidDodiya i agree on this ram issue, it is not there in normal day to day use but when i am gaming specifically pubg, once i was playing pubg i attended a call on whatsapp and when i went back to the game the whole game literally shutdown and i got angry, luckily i didnt die, UFS 3.1 and SD 8+GEN1 came in clutch but still its a shame , no background app was running except pubg and whatsapp. I have the grey 256 + 12gb ram nothing phone 2, i aint using ram booster

It all started with 2.5.5 update. Before that the performance was buttery smooth. It never overheated during gaming in the hot Indian summer. Once I updated the device began to overheated easily and started dropping frames. I play Efootball. The issue is still same with 2.5.6. Everything else works perfectly except gaming. Earlier I had Realme GT Neo 2 with SD 870 for two years and never dropped frames during games. Now for the first time since 2021 I am playing Efootball on standard graphics instead of high on my SD 8+ Gen 1. 🤡🤣

I am seriously thinking of switching over to another device if the issue is unresolved. The only thing that is keeping me on this phone is the Nothing OS.

SumanKumarDas you are damn right when i use uber then if i go into recent apps it takes a lot of time and i cant even make it to be on home screen…it takes times to get on home screen also when i call uber driver and i end the call it take lot of time to end the call.

Guys I was thinking of buy a NP2, but after seeing this situation im rly confused. Should i buy NP2 or no?. My usage is just casual things and no gaming in this mobile. I just need a clean UI experience

SibhiS i think it depends on usage. I have literally never had any problems with my NP2 since I bought it last year in July.

SibhiS you could buy it if you can tolerate some annoying issues with this particular company. No major problem with mobile I guess but the company itself ruining their own device with each update degrading performance and stability and many other things under the hood you are not aware about!!!

They don’t care about customer, they say we are transparent with customer/community

in reality they don’t listen to community, the members will reply to those who praise them and talk beautiful about their products, if anyone talking about any products issue or yhey are having problem, then there will be no reply from company or any members and if by any chance they reply they refer to submitting issue from the phones feedback option which is in settings,

And I have already tired of submitting these issues but so far nothing fixed till now

they don’t take action about any phone issues but if you do little mistake in comments here they do take action they (modaretor) will strike
