I’ve been using my NP (2) for about 3 months now and have absolutely enjoyed the experience, so much so that I even bought the Nothing Ear (2)'s . I’ve looked through Reddit and the Nothing official forums and have failed to find an issue quite like mine. I’m not sure if this is an android 14 issue or a NP (2) issue but any help is appreciated.
I’ve been through 2 sets of earbuds, different brands ofc, in the past 2 months with the NP (2). First set were Samsung Buds 2. Within a month they wouldn’t connect and when they did, the audio would clip in and out. However the really interesting issues happened when I bought my NE (2)'s. The battery life is lack luster, the sound quality is actually fantastic when they work. However the problem I’m having rn, no matter how many time I reset or how many times I try, these earbuds continue to malfunction one way or the other with no resolve. Firstly, when they are connected, if I disconnect and want to use them, let’s say an hour from now, they won’t want to connect and the phone pretends like the case isn’t on or charged. When they do connect, NothingX won’t consistently show case charge or it will, but only when it wants to. Secondly, when I go to disconnect them and reset the buds, the case is now acting as if it doesn’t have enough charge to do so. I plug the case in and they sat for over 24 hours and the light stays a steady white. Good, charged? Should be. Pull the cord off and go to put into pairing mode, red light come on for 2 seconds, which would tell me it’s not charged adequately enough to connect. But when the case is plugged in, it says fully charged. Last time I used everything as a unit, the case and buds where fully charged. Anytime they are connected, if I remove the left earbud, it will only connect to the right while it’s in the case and vice versa. If I pull the one it’s saying it’s connected to out, no audio comes through. Please help.
