Phone 1: Glyph lights themselves start playing on mute mode

When I put my phone 1 to mute and lock the screen Glyph lights start playing. Gone throught all related setting but the issue resolves on restart only. It happens only on mute mode and not on ringing or vibrate mode. Faced this issue 2-3 times in a week or so.

Is it possible to provide a bit more info? When you say the glyphs lights up when you lock the screen is it constant and seemingly random? Or is it just a case of the lights still flash when you get certain notifications come through?
