Apologies, I can’t say I’ve ever ran into this before on any of the networks I’ve connected to. Most enterprise networks now should require some form of additional certificate.
May I ask which Samsung and OnePlus phones you owned previously? And what software version did you have on them?
After reading a few articles online, it appears that as of Android 11 there have been changes in security which have removed the “No Certificate” or “Do Not Validate” options. I’m not sure if this is still the case or whether this affects all manufacturers but it’s a possibility.
Some users have reported success by using trust on first use when initially connecting to their enterprise network.
If you’re still unable to proceed, then I highly recommend reaching out to your IT team. This likely has more to do with the way that your enterprise’s network is set up.
