So “Apple” just announced, users can pick the colour of their CHOICE AND saturation level based on THEIR PREFERENCE.

As a brand claiming to beat apple in terms of customer friendly, will we ever be true to our idea !?

Rob ⚡️ changed the title to Custom icon colour and saturation .

I thought it already exist in android.. “material you” theme thing..

It is available natively in Android AOSP

Nothing didn’t enable it?

Nothing’s themes are very monochromatic. So it depends on this brand if they want to include such on their launcher.

The plus side of Android, and the joy of it for many, many years has been the customisation options.

If you don’t enjoy Nothing’s icon pack, there are many options out there to download and enjoy.

I am sure the developer community shall be able to replicate this new icon theme that has been introduced in iOS 18 into an Android icon pack before long 🔥

Ealesy101 No matter what you do, it doesn’t compare to stock. To install a third party app and give access to run in the background all the time seems a big draw back. Even in monochromatic theme, there should have been an option right ?

Or Should we accept nothing is the apple of Android ? 😐 You get what we give. No option to change !!!

Keseven Even in material you, which is Android 12, I don’t think you can pick the saturation level either. Gone are the good old days of giving us full control.

andrewchris22 - depends on the route Nothing wants to take with it’s Launcher theming? But if the Easter Egg in the special edition is anything to go by, there may be a future with more colour?

Icon packs running in the background for me has never caused any issues. So I wouldn’t see this as a problem should a third party app replicate iOS18.

        Hi,

I saw that some users set a icons color and that’s fit perfect for a black wallpaper. But when I want to do it, I can’t find the proper color. Is any free of charge option to set it like that? I attached my desktop
