Issues :

  1. Whenever I tap on portrait mode in camera app, the camera app immediately crashes. However portrait mode in front camera works.
  2. Whenever I tap on 0.6 (wide angle mode) in camera app, nothing happens.

Solutions I tried :

  1. Clearing storage of the app.
  2. Rebooting phone.
  3. Turning off “Ram booster” as this reddit post suggests it fixes the issue.

This is a new phone and I straight up downloaded NOS 2.5.6 so I don’t know if this issue was present in NOS 2.5.5.

My last option would be formatting the phone, but I have not done that yet.

Since wide angle and portrait mode both use the secondary camera I am worried that I have gotten a faulty camera module.

    anjanaulhas After contacting support they told me to visit service centre. The service centre guys reinstalled the software and the issue was fixed. Make sure to take backup before going to service centre. Hopefully your issue gets resolved soon!
