Add some improvement for camera especially back camera phone 2a still better than phone 2

arpan2308 Hi, Im facing a problem after updating to the new update. The sim card is not being detected in the phone after the update. Tried restarting multiple time but still the same issue, any solutions that u may recommend?

@RuudHesp Not so constant updates literally 55 days. These can be reduced to half. Btw yeh there are still features missing from 2a.

kanakdesai have not noticed any such issue. Try using some other sim card in phone2 and your sim card in some other phone, so to confirm which particular thing has the issue - phone2 or sim card. In case, you confirm that phone has an issue, I suggest visiting Nothing service center once.

kanakdesai Here’s what worked for me:

1.Reset network settings (you might need to do this a couple of times).

2.Reboot your Nothing Phone 2.

3.Clear the cache of the “Carrier Services” app (if you have it).

After doing these steps, my phone finally received full signal & switched to 5G! Let me know if this helps anyone else facing the same problem.

Fix the wifi connection issues, network issue speed is not as 5G also fix camera while capturing photos it takes time to save if we click back then that photo are gone..u getting my freaking point nothing team? Camera is must…provide hotfix for those i mentioned above.

I still don’t have the update in settings, is that normal?

Firmware (bot) we were asking for more volume steps and true black Amloed dark theme. Overall we encourage for fixing and optimizationing other stuff

Just updated my phone and the wifi isn’t working

Update looks solid (8hrs since update) Battery was over heating when I was playing Squad Busters in the previous version. Not anymore. Idk how but it’s heating normally as expected.

Can you give a little update like if my phone is lock so no one can switch off my phone without my password or fingerprint

kanakdesai wait atleast 15 to 20 mints probelm got solved.. every time I restart my phone 2 Also not detect sim card . This bug not from 2.5 it’s from when I unboxed

First of all GREAT UPDATE. The navigation bar removal was just now we can completely see the beauty of the symmetrical bezels.

But a suggestion for the future updates:

Needs universal search in home screen. Search for contacts, files, folders and Internet searches.

Needs Google lens integration in the recents tab.

Needs the ability to pin apps in the recent tabs to stay locked in the ram without closing.

Needs ability to copy text from recents tab. -

These add quality of life improvements to the launcher. If the developers see this, please try implementing them. Other than that it’s fluid, snappy, fast.
