    I am using Phone 2 last two months. After updating nothing OS 2.5.6 . I seen some bugs. When I screen unlock automatically music start. Duration 1 to 2 second. I restart my device but. This issue didn’t solved. This bugs appare 6 to 7 times ina day..

      1.Can we get the features of connecting nothing phone to laptop somewhat like moto is offering?

      2.Some essential apps like gallery and music player apps are missing. It’s the most basic feature of a smartphone.

      3.We have a good camera sensor in np 2. But as per the hardware mentioned camera can not click the desired photos. It maybe because of less software capabilities. After all these updates nothing still need to work on it to justify the price of the phone.

        ABC_25 What moto is doing is just adding more and more ways to farm user data. I dont think Nothing is such a brand but still, i’d love to see something on the same lines but without invading into the user privacy.

        Wait for Nothing OS 3.0, not sure about music player but gallery is for sure in the works.

        Do share your suggestions, observations or issues with the camera on np2, through the feedback section on your phone.
        I dont own a nothing product yet, but I believe they listen to users as they are focused on community more than any other brand at the moment.

          Have a “ticket” with Nothing Team related to some bug/feedback I`ve gave months a go .. and they are asking me for a feedback after the update but I didn’t get any Update notification and they keep saying to me that the uptade will be available until 19/10/2024 ..so what I do now ? 🙂.

          Nothing Phone (2) is still presented as their flagship phone, but a bit ignored as I see nothing Phone (2a) is being prioritized, which in this case I wonder if I did a good choice by buying Nothing Phone (2) over (2a) …..

          Z_Aid its not the hardware module issue we talking bout, but there are some issues in software in which like after the post processing of a zoomed image the texts (if any in the picture) gets destroyed and cant be read, which even a 10k phone is able to show clearly

            _ukaszBogucki not sure why it’s fake? As mentioned in the openings post:

            Firmware rollouts are usually staggered, meaning not all users will receive the update simultaneously.

            Has always been like this with previous updates.

              CatNIP yes this is a serious problem… Should buy a new device or get a life!

                I haven’t received this update yet, I’m a resident of Iran.

                All of you who have not got the OTA update, it´s easy to do manually.

                Go into the settings, click on about phone, then on the OS version, it ends on 1248 or 0138 number.

                Download this on your phone (for people on version 1248): mod edit

                For everyone else who’s on version 0138 , use this one instead mod edit

                Create a folder called “ota” on your root directory, and move the .zip to that folder. (or donwload on PC, connect your phone to it, and make the folder there. It’s easier to do but more of an hassle)

                When it’s moved, open your dialer, and press *#*#682#*#*. Hit “directly apply OTA from select”, and wait patiently (should take 5 or so minutes), it’ll ask you to restart after.

                That’s it.
