I bought a pair of Nothing ear (a) headphones but I have a problem. I noticed that while making calls or sending voice messages on WhatsApp, even though I have noise cancellation activated, it doesn’t work. Background noises are very loud, and there’s no difference whether I activate it or not. I tried contacting support, and they gave me some steps to follow, but it didn’t solve the issue. I also returned them on Amazon and ordered a new pair, but the problem persists. I can’t understand what the problem is.
My tests were as follows:
Speaking with the headphones connected to a Windows PC, I activated noise cancellation by pressing and holding the headphones, but my colleagues talking in the background overpowered my voice.
Another test was playing YouTube videos in the background and connecting the headphones to a Samsung S22, activating noise cancellation from the app, but again, it didn’t work.
I really don’t know what to do. Thank you in advance.
