OPS! I made a mistake in the title, it’s Ear, not Air. xDD
**Design**
Nothing Ear: 9
Different and novel. It’s very pretty and looks great on the desk.
Airpods 2 Pro: 8
Minimalist and clean design.
**Earbud Comfort**
Nothing Ear: 9
They fit the ear perfectly. They don’t fall out while chewing.
Airpods 2 Pro: 8
They tend to fall out while chewing, but they feel more pleasant in the ear for long sessions.
**Case Comfort**
Nothing Ear: 7
A bit larger and, since it’s not as rounded, it’s not as comfortable. Putting in or taking out the earbuds is simple, but not as much as with the Airpods. You have to pay more attention.
Airpods 2 Pro: 9
Small and round. Very easy to put in and take out the earbuds from the case.
**Battery**
Nothing Ear: 8
I need to test it more, but I think it’s slightly inferior to Apple’s. Still, I’m satisfied.
Airpods 2 Pro: 9
Good, long-lasting battery, lasts through the whole workday.
**Sound Quality**
Nothing Ear: 8
More differentiated ranges, each instrument can be heard with greater clarity.
Airpods 2 Pro: 7
Sounds good overall, but slightly inferior in general. However, it’s always pleasant to the ear, no high notes will ever bother you.
**Transparency Mode**
Nothing Ear: 4
Simply awful. It’s useless. It honestly needs updates. It’s better to not have this mode. I have to take out the earbud or stop the music to hear my coworkers.
Airpods 2 Pro: 10
Excellent, no more to say.
**Noise Cancellation Mode**
Nothing Ear: 5
Given the price range, it’s just okay. It works, but nothing spectacular.
Airpods 2 Pro: 8
Notably more powerful, works successfully in different environments.
**Connectivity on Android**
Nothing Ear: 9
Tons of options in its app and the dual connection works perfectly.
Airpods 2 Pro: 5
Allows almost nothing if you’re not in the Apple ecosystem.
**BT Connection Distance**
Nothing Ear: 9
Excellent, not a single drop even if I leave my phone upstairs in my house.
Airpods 2 Pro: 8
Notable, but I think it has slightly less range.
In summary, I would say they are remarkable if it weren’t for the noise cancellation and the dreadful transparency mode. Honestly, the transparency mode is embarrassing. If this mode is very important to you, stay away from the Nothing Ear. If the transparency mode isn’t important to you, and you value design, connectivity (great with Nothing Phone), and sound, I recommend them.
I hope Nothing works on the transparency mode. I don’t know if it can be much improved through updates, but what exists now is quite embarrassing.
PS: Sorry for my English, it’s a translation, so if any paragraph doesn’t make sense at times, that’s why.
