Is Using MagSafe Rings Safe for Nothing Phone 2?

Im ’m thinking of using MagSafe rings with my Nothing Phone 2. Has anyone tried this? I’m curious about several factors:

Compatibility: Do the rings attach securely without slipping?
Safety: Any risk of damage to the phone or interference with its functions?
Charging: How well do MagSafe chargers work with it? Any alignment or speed issues?
Heat: Does the phone heat up more than usual when using a MagSafe charger?
Durability: Does the adhesive wear out quickly or leave any residue?

yes it it very strong at holding onto MagSafe compatible accessories, wireless charging is not affecting by using this. I have used the magsafe case and it is very good. wireless charging produces heat in general but magsafe alone wont cause any issues. don’t worry about damaging the phone, magnets wont cause any issues to the phone. Yes, the rings attach very easily and very securely to the device, depends on the brand by which you bought it from.
As it’s external, It shouldn’t interfere with the functionality of the phone or cause any damage.
Well MagSafe chargers work fine with it, you get the max charge of 15W regardless of how fast the charger is. As long as its stable on the charging pad and you see the charging indication, that means that no matter the alignment. It will charge.
Wireless charging is unreliable, slow and heats the device pretty quick since it’s basically electricity flowing through the air in a nutshell. While they sound awesome and gets rid of unwanted cables, it will degrade the battery much faster than wired charging.
Again, depends on its cost and the type of adhesive it uses. Generally, the rings never do come out on their own easily but if they do. The residue could easily be cleaned by Isopropyl Alcohol.

In my opinion, MagSafe should depend on what kind of day you have. If you work outside and use your phone a lot while also having it charged all the time so you don’t miss out on work stuff. It’s great then but if you care about the durability of the device. It’s better to buy a compact power bank.

Again, that was my opinion. Do some more research and decide!

Wireless charging does not affect the battery in any way. Electromagnetic induction. Absolutely battery safe. It’s just slower.

Regarding the heat, in the battery of every phone there is a so-called BMS chip (battery management system), which monitors all parameters of each individual cell in the battery, heat, voltage, charging current. The manufacturer has programmed this chip so that the battery will not be damaged by either wired or wireless charging. Wireless charging does not heat up the battery more than fast wired charging. Use your phones without fear. We engineers take care of the rest.
