Is there a way to read through the above? I wanna understand Nothing’s data processing T&C’s, something that is presented to a user when they boot up the phone for the first time and go through all the set up process.

Since the company’s brand narrative is heavily focused on being transparent, not just through product design but all the brand communication takes this stand of being honest, transparent and open.

Can someone let me know if one can read through these things? It will help further fortify customer trust.

The first paragraph of the privacy policy states

And

collect, use, share and process your Personal Data when you are using our services, including our websites, products, apps and other Nothing services

I did notice that the privacy policy mentions “products” but it seemed more like a standard, general and not-smartphone-specific privacy policy that is usually available on other tech brands’ websites. Also this particular version of policy uses some vague terms like “legitimate business interests” and “other purposes” without clearly defining their scope.

Can you or anyone confirm if the same version is provided to the user to agree up on when they are setting up the phone for first time?

Some policies from different companies may use similar structures or use similar keywords as they are likely under the same rules, guidelines and laws (aside from a few variations for specific regions) It is not uncommon to see this. It may seem generic but this is simply because they are written in a way that cover all aspects.

On your device you can view the following

If you have signed up to Google services, they too would have ToS and policies that you would of agreed to during set up.

Between these and the policies I’ve already linked you to, you should find all the information you need.

I dont own a nothing product yet, and this is why I have created this thread, I thought it is understood from my replies. Reading through the on device privacy and data policies would have helped me in making a purchase without any worries.

I will look for other sources and if needed, will contact support.
