## Make Glyphs useful again #### Glyphify v2 is now available **[here](https://nothing.community/d/17085-glyphify-v2-available-on-play-store)**. --- **Glyphify v1** is an app **made for Nothing phones (1, 2 and 2a)** which **aims to make the Glyph interface more useful** by providing **multiple features**. Here's a brief description of Glyphify's features: --- ### Glyphifier It's an **automatic composer**, choose **any song** (.mp3, wav etc) and it will be **converted** into a **Glyph synched ringtone** with a **better accuracy compared to the built-in Nothing algorithm**. So, another question, this time about the essential notification

When I choose a zone it only lets me choose 1 person from my contacts, so this essential only works if someone uses messenger wich is a little unlikely. Is there a way I can choose any notification apart from a contact. Sorry for complaining so much. 😭

Iron it works with sms, Whatsapp and Telegram but only if you have that contact that is messaging you saved

Thanks for making the app. Just downloaded it and I love it. Finally a way to give phone 2a users a way to see their battery status with the glyphs. Let’s see if nothing will add this (I don’t think so). Hope you’ll fix the bugs in the app <3

There seems to be a problem with the Phone (2a) specifically with the music glyphifying (if that’s the right word) feature. It seems to leave a weird gap for the top left light.

DhruvTej same here mate, although i did mention this error before, but couldn’t uploading a video of this error upon request of the developer.

As I’ve stated in a previous post, the “Glyphifier” works in compatibility mode with Phone(1) and it has some problem with (2a). I’ll be looking into that soon, in a future version.

Right now I’ve an update ready but I’m waiting for Nothing to give me the API key to use the GDK

Have you got any plans on adding phone 1 15 zone support?

The “Glyphifier” builds a file that can be read by Nothing OS so it’s not being visualized by my code and I have less control on that.

That means 15 zone support could only be done for “Extended Essential” and it will be done in the next releases.

Does the brightness of the glyph depend upon the intensity of the song (like the music notes of the song)? The glyph appears to have less intensity compared to the original inbuilt glyph ringtones

Yes, they are adjusted based on volume

Could you make all the glyph lights to have same intensity ?

Based on the song volume. Yes, it would be possible but personally I prefer it like this, maybe i can include a toggle to switch between modes

Changes:

👥Extended Essential now support multiple contacts mapping to a single glyph (old mappings will be erased on app boot)
👁Added a little animation when displaying (2a)'s battery indicator

Fixes:

♻Fixed Extended Essential not working after reboots
🎯Improved (2a)'s battery indicator reliability
