Glyphify - A multipurpose Glyph app
Installed the latest version, but still not working as expected. 
All the normal glyph functions behave as they should, but allocating glyphs to contacts has no effect.
Operator error? What am I doing wrong? 
Did you install the app from fresh or updated it? Maybe eliminating app data can help
Do you have glyph debug mode on? It resets after 48 hours
I can assure you that it works on my Phone(1) and Phone(2)
I did a complete re-install after deleting the previous download.
Do I need to have the de-bug running all the time?
One difference a wondered about, the previous version applied the contact initials over the glyph graphic, but new version has a head and shoulders icon. Is this correct?

Yes you need the debug activate all the time for v1.3.7, be sure to activate it and then restart the app. Next update this won’t be needed.
Yes it’s correct, that represents a single person since you can add multiple people to a single glyph now (and in that case an icon representing a group of people is shown).

Are both of you using (2a)? There’s a conflict between Extended Essential and battery indicator, I’ll be looking into it

ATTENTION: the new version may conflict with glyph debug mode, if you are coming from a previous update be sure to disable glpyh debug, install the update and restart the phone. If that doesn’t work, uninstall app, reboot and reinstall.
Battery indicator works like a charm now on my 2a.
But can you provide an option to show it constantly rather than 2 seconds when moving the phone?

@Fr4nKB i have a few suggestions for notification mode:
If you have chosen the zone for notifications there should be a back button (i wondered how to go back, but then tried the back gesture)
Maybe add a third option “blink” without fading and a slider/menu to choose the speed?
Last one: there should be a hint how to delete an app/contact from the list (long press to remove)
And maybe i can help with german translation?
Hey I one feature request , i Have Google Pay App and I want Glyph Light after I done payment with Gpay (UPI) it will be very awesome if you added that. I know it’s some random request but I am trying many way but not find way to setup glyph for it that why I asked

muhkuhaushonolulu Yeah, it can be done but it would envolve continuosly executing code on the background and Android is not very keen on doing that

Abhiie Glad you like, unfortunately for contacts the notification needs to display the exact name you have in the contacts (e.g. I have a contact on Telegram whose name is different from the name I used to save the contact)

Still no joy for me!
Installed the new update, essential glyphs didn’t work, so uninstalled, rebooted as described, disabled the debug function, but I am back to no glyph notifications working at all. The glyph torch does work through.
What am I still doing wrong?
