Nothing Phone 1 Glyph Lights Effects …
[deleted] right now 2a is working in compatibility mode with 1, I’ll add native support for 2a in a future version.
@arpan2308 Thank you!
Hi, I was “planning” on a similar app to convert songs to glyph patterns. I scrapped my project since I realised it was too much work so I’ll just put my ideas here:
- Using online audio splitters, you can use multiple audio (eg, track 1 for drums, track 2 for vocals, etc) and assign them to different lights on the back
- Allow video editing style glyph pattern composition. Basically, user will have a timeline similar to audacity and video editors and they can adjust the effect, time and intensity of each light.
Thank you for sharing this
I already looked into audio stem splitting and I made a port for Spleeter by Deezer into kotlin, however I’ve scraped the idea since it would blow up the size of the app to 350MB ish, also I don’t want to rely on online APIs.
I also had something in mind like your second idea but this would indeed take a lot of time and UI/UX design which I’m not skilled at, so for the time being I’m not planning on introducing that.
I just tested a new update you’ve published, with each update it gets more better and better on 2a, nice job!
Frankly saying i UNINSTALLED APP just after making one glyph
BUT BUT BUT
This latest version is next f level improved a loooot keep going bro
Hi there. Thanks for the amazing app! I’m using it on my phone (2a). Everything works perfectly except the battery indicator for some reason. I tried giving it all the permissions including the unrestricted battery settings and it still doesn’t work.
puhbu how should i make the battery feature work let me know
How to use Phone(2a)'s glyph battery indicator (BETA):
First head into developer options and activate Glyph Interface debug mode
Then, set Glyphify to Unrestricted battery usage, this is will prevent Android from killing the foreground service
Finally, open the app and be sure not to close it (everytime you want to use this you need the app opened)
Now when you plug the power and the phone is laying horizontal you will see the battery indicator
MitunManav you can enable glyph debugging from developer options, then just make glyphify unrestricted and plug in your phone, put the phone face down and you’ll see the LED showing the battery when you move your phone a little.
