Good morning,

I received my Watch Pro 2 through Amazon on 28/07/24.

Unfortunately, the following day, 29/07/24, the Smartwatch experienced a sort of blackout: for a couple of hours, it didn’t respond to commands, it didn’t work despite the battery was over 80% and the display didn’t light up.

Only proceeding to a reset I suceeded in making the Smartwatch work again, but data for stress, heart rate, etc. were not collected for at least 2 hours.

In addition, when I received the Smartwatch, I noticed a strange white sign on the crown, as a scretch (you can see it in the attacched photo).

I would like to know if other customers have had the same problems.

Above all, I wonder whether it’s better I proceed with a return of the Smartwatch through Amazon.

The battery life sucks, the connectivity with phone always loses. The weather and everything related to phone can’t see in long run always have to connect it with phone again and again. Battery even with optimized life, lower brightness and everything still it sucks, 100% charge cannot even run for 4 full days.

Sorry please for the mistakes in my English.

First of all, I am not a hater - I sincerely love the brand, products, brand’s positioning, and want to become a part of something, what will make your products better.

I’m writing this because at this stage the watch looks raw, and unfortunately, I want to use it more as a watch than as a smart watch.

I have some advice just as a simple user how to make it better, I mean some ideas what to add in watches and what to fix, also in application.

So, Bugs:

The weather does not sync - The Watches displays an icon that looks like a crossed-out Wi-Fi symbol. After going to the Weather item in the menu, there is a message like “Connect to the application for additional weather information”. I have clicked everywhere on the phone (I use IPhone 15 Pro Max - just for the info - maybe it will be helpful) and also in Watches - nothing helped.
The translation of the Watches system and application into Russian is bad in some places

- Write to me and I will correctly translate all the elements for you =)
Vibration 1.0:

In the watch settings, if you turn the vibration off, the alarm also STOPS working (except for the on-screen notification). Guys, THIS IS AN ALARM CLOCK! In any case, it should work even when vibration is completely turned off.
I don’t know where to put this article - bugs or suggestions, but well:

Add more flexible settings for the Watch’s vibration motor please, since even the “Standard” mode is quite strong and unpleasant.

-For example, make an adjustment from 1 to 5.

Also, regarding the alarm clock - many people complain about their maximum number - 5? Only 5?…
Also about Alarm Clock - The display of Alarm Clock descriptions in the app is very poor. (At least in Russian)
In the Bluetooth settings on the phone, the Watches is displayed twice. Connected to both.
Displaying Emojis in notifications… No words here… I think I’m not the first to touch on this topic.
No sync sign - Often on the Watches, if you lower the curtain, a red phone is displayed (as if there is no syncing with the phone)

- Is it a bug or is synchronization really interrupted so often and it is necessary to go into the application every hour?

Suggestions:

Make a custom curtain (swipe from top to bottom) - so that you can change the arrangement of elements, the elements themselves, and add more than 6 of them (for example, so that the curtain can be moved to the left).
Add the ability to customize the menu after pressing a button (change the arrangement of elements, since, for example, the alarm clock is located almost at the end).
In widgets (after swiping left/right) you have a limit on adding a widget of one type in quantity - 1.

-Remove the limitation, this will give you more opportunities for more convenient customization of widgets.
Add a selection of applications from which you can receive notifications.

- I don’t mean the 10 suggested apps, 5 of which I don’t even know.

Guys, I am in no way a hater and do not want to disparage your product. I am immensely interested and love your brand and products. I also understand that this product is completely new and requires gradual improvements.

-I just don’t want, as happens with many brands, 1-2 bugs to be fixed in each update. I would like to see a really large number of problems fixed in one update. That’s why I’m writing a ready-made list of current and very important problems.

Please add full water protection to the next Watch model

-I mean, so that you can swim in the pool. Maybe it’s possible in this model, but at least I didn’t find a training mode “swimming ”.

And one more thing about the next model (haha sorry please, just giving my thoughts). If you want to add a super mega cool feature (in my opinion), - make a bezel that will glow in a circle! (a very bad but clear example in the attached screenshot).

I think a lot of people will like this idea, especially for notifications. And if you can also synchronize it with a music player (so that the glow changes) - that will be simply gorgeous!

(It doesn’t have to be RGB, even just a regular white glow - it will be very cool!)

If you take this idea, you will give me the next model for tests and reviews 😃

It’s normal, even I got confused but you need to swipe to select color and tap on selected color to on flash which increases brightness , tap again to off which brings back the brightness to normal.

I’ve had my Watch Pro 2 since the day after launch and I’m pretty happy with it.
The battery life is great and so is the display.
My only gripes are that the voice assistant doesn’t work (at least not when paired with a Pixel 8a), it just says connect to your phone’s bluetooth, even though it is connected. My other one is the timer, which is useless, as it has no notification, when it runs out.
EDIT I’m happy to say that both issues are now solved. Another issue led me to reboot my phone and voice assistant is now working. The vibration on the timer is also fine. Whether this was fixed in the last update, or it was the same issue, I don’t know.

The Watch 2 Pro has several major issues:

- Battery life is only 3-4 days, even with all 24-hour tracking features turned off.

- The AOD brightness isn’t well-tuned.

- The screen doesn’t light up when a notification is received.

- Gesture control is inconsistent.

- There’s no smart AOD, so the display stays on even when the watch isn’t being worn.

- No theater mode is available.

- It doesn’t allow switching audio output to my Ear 2, despite being part of the same ecosystem.

It is been a month using the watch 2 for me. When i received the watch, there were many issues, but some were resolved with updates. Currently, there are some issues which i feel the CMF team should work on.

The GPS takes a lot of time to connect, one of the main features of this watch was the presence of GPS so this should be worked upon.
There is inconsistency in heart rate monitoring. For example, I was sitting in the office doing noting when the heart rate rose from 80 to 150 and then was again back to 85.
There is no wake-on notification option.

These are the three major issues the CMF team must concentrate on.

I think that a greater possibility of personalizing the information on the watch makes it more readable and useful, where everyone is able to create their own useful information.

Furthermore, it would be convenient to add to the oxygen and heart rate monitoring the possibility of choosing how often to have the check done (1h, 2h, 3h, 6h, continuously, etc), in order to have battery life and monitoring active

In the latest watch 2 fw I noticed a high battery drain despite having AOD and monitoring (oxy/stress) turned off and only heart and sleep active (20% / day)
