After using the CMF Watch Pro 2 for two months, I wanted to share some feedback and suggestions for potential improvements. Overall, the experience has been amazing, but there are a few issues that could be addressed to enhance usability. Here’s what I’ve noticed:
Issues & Suggestions
1. Call Output Issue
When answering a call on the watch, there’s no way to transfer the audio back to the phone (or e.g. headphones).
Solution: This was resolved by switching from Google Dialer to Fossify Phone, but it would be great to have a native fix for this.
2. Stress Widget Behavior
When clicking the “Stress” widget, it immediately starts measuring stress levels instead of displaying the last recorded result.
Suggestion: It should work like the SPO2 monitoring—first showing the last result and providing an option to measure again.
3. Scrolling Lag in “All Apps” Screen
Scrolling for more than two seconds in the “All Apps” screen causes severe lag.
Observation: This issue is not present in the “Notifications” tab or other areas, so it seems like a bug that needs addressing.
4. No Weather without Location Services
The weather is only shown if Location Services were enabled on the phone during initial pairing.
Suggestion: Users should be able to manually select a location for weather updates, similar to how the Nothing Weather app/widget works.
5. Timer Vibration
The timer only vibrates once when it finishes.
Suggestion: It should keep vibrating until manually stopped, as a single vibration is too easy to miss.
6. CMF Watch App Logout Issue
Occasionally, the CMF Watch app logs me out for no apparent reason.
Suggestion: This should be investigated and fixed to improve user experience.
Final Thoughts
CMF Watch Pro 2 has been almost a perfect companion, but ironing out these issues would make it even better. I hope Nothing takes this feedback into consideration for future updates.
