I’m encountering a similar issue with the YouTube app. The screen turns black while the video continues to play, and the shorts don’t match the thumbnail
I am still waiting phone 2 update almost 2 months completed, nothing provided best software experiences 
9 posts were split to Phone (2) update.
Updated to the latest version 2.6 and feel smooth as of now no issues.

Z_Aid I am afraid because my phone is just 1 month old.i bought it in august with a fortune because i liked this phone.i can’t lose it.
Didn’t face any issues. Bought it last November. You are in good hands.
Updated.no bugs so far.but the youtube issue didn’t solved.youtube is slow loading and 5 sec waiting time for shorts and videos.I hope bug fix in android 15
