nothing I have 1 phone, my phone storage is 256 GB, but since the phone’s gallery is connected to Google, I can store a maximum of 15 GB of storage space. I also have e-mails in it. When this space is full, I have difficulty receiving e-mails and storing photos. Please separate it as a normal gallery, as many photos as I want without being connected to Google. I want to keep it. 15 GB storage space is insufficient. Google demands money from me for extra storage. There should be a separate gallery. I trust you, team.

good luck

Hey 👋

The amount of Google storage you have allocated does not affect your media storage capacity. Photos and videos will continue to live on your device and will be accessible through a third party gallery app, files app, or Google Photos. The cloud storage just refers to how much you can backup to the cloud.

    Derren

However, when I enter my gallery, I get a warning from Google that I will not be able to receive emails, etc. if I do not free up storage space. I will send a screenshot to this chat as soon as possible.

15 GB Google warning refers to capacity of your CLOUD storage (Google Drive) for backing up your phone provided for free by Google. It is up to you what you want to back up there. If you don’t need backup of your photos, In Google photo app go to your profile (circle in top right corner), click on backup option, turn it of. This will free up your space storage in Google drive cloud. There will be warning if I am right that photos from Google drive will be deleted, but this doesnt affect photos stored in your physical phone.

Btw to provide only basic (smaller) storage of cloud for backing up settings, contacts, emails etc, it is standard model for all - MS (OneDrive), Apple (iCloud), Google (GDrive), Adobe CC… And if you need more online/cloud storage, you have to pay, in case of GDrive 2€ for 100gb monthly…

Another way to back up your photos, emails etc, and I would say more safe in terms of personal info, is to your computer via usb or buy otg capable usb memory stick…
