Phone (2) - Screen ontime inconsistency

I am facing issue in Screen Time. Screen Time is not accurate. When I look for contribution of apps in screen time, there is some issues. Because many times I have observed that I have not even touched the phone in particular time but still it shows screen time of 2 hours. And for that when I analyse the apps then the apps which i have used just for 5-10 minutes, shows screen time of 2 hours.

For your reference I have attached the screenshot & you can see there is one app called TRADINGO which jas screen time of 4+ hours & I have used that app approx 10-15 minutes in whole day. And as a result I am not able to get to know the proper Screen Time my device is giving.

HKBardia never experienced such thing. Check this app again. Does this app has any lockscreen or homescreen widget or something which alters the actual screen ontime? Try deleting the app and checking screen ontime for a day.

arpan2308 I couldn’t find any widget of this app & even if there is any widget, I haven’t enabled it.

And the thing is that there is not the problem of one particular specific app. I observe such mismatch with other apps too. It’s random, sometimes it shows the same for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook etc. It’s not that this specific is creating trouble.

And on home screen widget of screen time i have noticed such errors as well many times. In that widget what happens is that suppose it’s 10am then it starts showing 10 hours screen time 😅 But when I go in setting>battery usage. Then there is screen Time of 1 hour/ 2 hours whatever.

So there’s some bug in screen time calculations i guess.
