seanwo So I setup my new watch and decided to get Strava connected since the only reason I bought this version was that Strava integration was added. The setup was simple but then I just walked around the block to get an activity to make sure that it uploaded fine before doing any long runs and noticed that the activity was uploaded as a “Workout” and no GPS data was sent to Strava. My Amazfit does this with the Zepp app no problem. This is not great integration and I am now reconsidering my purchase. Do you plan to improve your Strava Integration to upload useful metrics to Strava after exercise? I have not tried the Outdoor Running activity yet but I don’t see why it would be any different than the Outdoor Walking activity from a GPS mapping standpoint. I am attaching a picture of the 5 minute walk in the CMF app and what sync’d to Strava. Anyone taken this for a run and seen a different results? I am bit worried after the first exercise sync here.
KorbinianKohl Got my Watch yesterday and tried it today on my commute to work by bike. It just uploads a “ride” with distance and time. No GPS, no elvevation, and most important reason i got that watch, no heart rate…
Aroun I am very disappointed, too. I sent a request to Nothing support on WhatsApp and on the web form. Waiting for a reply. Honestly, I am considering returning the watch.
Graham_DGZpC2IRCQ I’ve granted permission to Strava in third party support but my runs won’t sync with Strava - any tips?
Graham_DGZpC2IRCQ I’ve just now got mine to sync with Strava and I get the same generic workout entry on Strava with zero GPS info or average pace etc
PaulArmstrong Mine did the same for a walk. Just synced as a generic ‘workout’ with distance but no other data
ShafiSmaili PaulArmstrong mine is showing the right workout “run”, with basic stats. If they can get the map to export via update I’ll call that decent for a £70 watch.
dcullen Agreed I just assumed when I bought it that it would upload all of the GPS data points to Strava. It shouldn’t be too hard for the devs to fully integrate it. It would then definitely be a great watch for the price point. Strava API to upload the data file Strava Developers
EricHamiter Found this thread by searching for Google “cmf watch pro 2 strava gps no data upload”. Also thought that an upload to Strava would include relevant data since it was already recorded and the endpoint for Strava exists per @dcullen’s post above. Wasn’t expecting much for the low cost but this would essentially be a free feature that would be so nice to have. Devs please add this
dcullen Just an update on this. I have made support aware of this feature request and it is on their radar to look at.
HatchBiscuit Came here to request better Strava integration and ran across this post. Thanks for passing along the info to CMF, dcullen. Hopefully they do something about it. Proper Strava integration seems like simple thing. I’ve had my watch pro 2 for a couple weeks and enjoy everything about it. For the price point it’s hard to beat, but was rather disappointed with the lack of full Strava metrics.
seanwo deepakshrm898 Here is an example of matching CMF app v. Strava. I updated the watch firmware to 1.0.0.65 and it is still working as of this morning. I had a previous issue a few days ago where the watch failed to store the “track” (gps) so I am keeping an eye on it.
iomz I also confirm the integration is finally working just as wanted after updating the app this morning. GPS routes and heartrates are synched altogether, kudos to CMF.
thakare_mahendra In strength training only duration get sync to Strava. This is very frustrating. Whereas in CMF app you can see the details. CMF team needs to improve this so that end user should consider CMF pro 2 as demanding fitness watch. Attached screenshots
